• What it connects to:

• ● The Male Camlock portion of this adapter will connect to a 8" Female Cam & Groove.

• How the Adapter Works:

• ● To connect, slide the 8" Male Dust Plug into a 8" Female Coupler and then close the Cam arms.
• ● To disconnect, open the Cam Handles and remove the Adapter.

• Description:
• ● 8" Aluminum Cam and Groove Type DP Dust Plug.
• Uses:
• ● The 8" Type DP has 8" Male Adapter x Sealed Off End and is used to close off and seal 8" Female Couplers which include the Type B, Type C and Type D.
• ● Used to seal off the line to keep dust and contaminents out and also to prevent leakage.
• Compatibility:
• ● 8 inch Type DP Male Camlock portion can connect to a 8 inch Female Camlock of the PTK Style.
• Installation:
• ● Connect the 8" Dust Plug Adapter to a 8" Female Cam Fitting and close all 4 of the cam arms. (Type B, C and D)
• Also Known as a:
• ● 8" Male Cam and Groove Dust Plug.
• ● 8" Type DP Aluminum Camlock Plugs.
• ● 8" Type DC Male Cam Plugs.
• Style:
• ● 8" PTK Style - Compatible with PT Coupling and with Kuriyama.

• Compatibility for 8" Camlocks

• Since the Mil-Spec standard only applies to sizes from 3/4" up to 4" as well as the 6", there is no standard for the 8" Cam & Groove. As a result there are two styles that are not interchangeable with each other:
• ● PTK Style - Compatible with Kuriyama and PT Coupling
• ● Neco Style - Compatible with Dixon (Andrews), Ever-Tite and NECO.

• The difference between the PTK and NECO versions:

• The PTK version has a smaller OD.
• - If the OD of the Male Adapter Portion is less than 9" OD, then it is the PTK Style.
• - If the OD of the Male Adapter is just over 9" OD, then you have the NECO Style.
