The Type B coupler is ordinarily used with a Type F adapter. However, this Type B coupler can be used with a Type A or Type E adapter as well as a Type DP (Dust Plug) of matching size.

• Description:
• ● The Plastic Type B Female Coupler is a Female Cam and Groove x Male NPT Thread.
• Uses:
• ● Used to install a Female Coupler into a Female Thread.
• ● Used to connect with a Male Adapter of the same size.
• What it connects to:
• ● The coupler portion will couple with a Male Adapter.
• ● The threaded portion will connect to a Female NPT Thread.
• Compatability:
• ● Recommended to be used with other Polypropylene, Plastic, PVC and Banjo Camlocks.
• ● Generaly not used with other metal fittings, although they will couple.
• ● Metal Male Threads can damage plastic fittings, since they expand the fitting from the inside.
• ● Metal Female Threads are more suitable to use, since they wont crack plastic fittings.
• Installation:
• ● Thread the Male NPT portion of the plastic pipe fitting onto a Female NPT Thread.
• ● Then slide the Type B Coupler onto a Male Adapter and close the two cam lever arms.
• ● For a quick disconnect, open the cam handles and remove the adapter.
