- Description: Female Cam QD x Male NPT Homebrew Camlock
- Advantages: Also called Cam and Groove QD's, and are Ideal for Brewing due to their Wide Internal Diameter (ID) and low cost.
- Installation: Typically the Type B Female Cam Lock Quick Connects are installed on more mobile or portable Brewery Fittings that have a Female NPT Thread. (For eg. High Flow Street Elbows on hose ends.) These mobile installations give the cam arms space to move.
- Common uses: Often used in brew systems to thread into High Flow Street Elbows that are on hose ends. This is especially Ideal for hoses connected to Brew Vessels since the 90 degree elbow prevents the kink that would have occured due to the weight of the full hose if a standard hose barb were used. Can also be coupled to the Cam by Garden Hose Thread Adapter to bring fresh water to your brewing set up. These 1/2"Type-B Stainless Steel Camlocks are also widely used on Street Elbows and can be used on almost any fitting that ends in a Female NPT.
