Threaded 90° elbow fittings are widely used in plumbing and in piping systems, most often used to facilitate a 90 degree change in the flow direction. These threaded fittings are essentially a 90 degree curved pipe with female (external) threads on either end. This enables it to connect to pipes or male threaded fittings at a 90 degree right angle. The Stainless Steel 90 degree elbow has internal threads on either end, which allows for an easy installation simply by screwing them onto the corresponding male-threaded pipes or fittings. Their NPT tapered thread ensures a secure and water-proof connection, making them ideal for a wide variety of applications including residential, commercial and industrial plumbing applications.
