3 Piece Ball Valve - General Dimensions
The main advantage of a 3 piece valve is its ability to be easily taken apart for cleaning. In fact the valve can remain threaded into the pipe and the center portion can be removed and serviced, without having to remove the entire valve from the application. Since the Valve Body is composed of three pieces, a large full bore ball can be fitted into the valve-body, making this a full port high flow valve.
Three Piece Ball Valve - Material components
All wetted parts are Stainless Steel 316 and PTFE (Teflon) seals. This makes the valve suitable for any material compatible with both PTFE and Stainless Steel. So as well as being high heat and chemical resistant, this valve also has good anti-corrosive qualities
Pressure Chart
These Three-Piece Valves are Rated to 1000 PSI which is about 68.94 Bar. As is normal in almost all situations as temperature rate increases, the presure rating decreases as well.
