Description:
● Two different sized Tri-Clamp Caps or Ferrules joined together.
Uses:
● Tri-Clover end cap reducers are used when space is limited in confined areas and are an alternative to the longer Sanitary Conical Reducers.
● TC Cap reducers are used to increase or decrease the diameter of the line.
● Although they are called Reducers, they may be used more often to increase the line size.
● They can be used in horizontal flow applications without the risk of pooling that may occur with concentric reducers.
● However their sharp 90 degree Angles can cause agitation in certain applications, in which case a TC Concentric Reducer would be more suitable.
● They are often used as a Sanitation Port or clean out Port when placed vertically on top of a tri-Clamp stack.
