- Description: Male QD x Male NPT Thread Homebrew Quick Disconnect
- Advantages: These Stainless Steel QD's are easy to use and quick to install. They can quickly connect and disconnect in a matter of seconds.
- Installation: This Male Stainless Steel Quick Connect has a Male NPT end so it will thread into any 1/2" Female NPT thread. Typically the Male QD is fitted onto non-mobile brewery hardware. This is because the male QD is exposed, and therefore it is not as protected as the female QD portion. So it preserves the Male QD better if it is not moved around as much.
- Common uses: Widely on the outlet of Ball Valves that are connected to brewing vessels and on ball valves connected to Brew pumps. They will couple with the Female QD's mentioned on the previos page.
