  • Description: Female Cam QD x Full Bore Hose Barb (Standard Length)
  • Advantages: These specially designed Cam and Groove QD's, have a Wide Full Bore Internal Diameter (ID). They are designed to be a traditional type C with the full length hose barb, except that the hose barb OD is 5/8" instead of the standard 1/2". This gives you a high flow QD with a hose barb that fits about 1.5" into the hose for a secure installation.
  • Installation: Since the High Flow C Female Cam Lock Quick Connects have a hose barb, they are installed almost exclusively into Hose Ends.
  • Common uses:  The High Flow C is generally installed into 1/2" Silicone Hose, and will have to be carefully maneuvered in since it has a 5/8" hose shank. This Part was specifically manufactured to have a full-bore (1/2") ID for home brewing. Before these Special Stainless Steel Camlocks were custom made for home brew we used to sell a Type D and a 5/8" hosebarb to get the same effect at a higher price.
