Description: Female Cam QD x Female NPT Homebrew Camlock
Advantages: Ideal for Brewing due to their Wide ID (Internal Diameter) and low cost.
Installation: Typically the Type D Female Cam Lock Quick Connects are installed on mobile or the more portable Brewery Fittings that have a Male NPT Thread. These mobile installations give the cam arms space to open and close.
Common uses: These Cam and Groove QD's can be used on pipe nipples, the end of Brew Pumps and any fitting that ends in a Male NPT Thread. They can also accept a hose barb to make a Type C, the nice thing about is is you can add a larger or smaller ID hose barb depending on your flow rate.
