Type A adapters are generally used with the same size Type D couplers, however, Type B and Type C couplers are compatible, as well as the Type DC (Dust Cap).

• ● The Stainless Steel Type A Male Adapter is a Male Cam and Groove x Female NPT Thread.
• Uses:
• ● Used to install a Male Cam Lock onto a Male Thread. 
• ● Used to connect with a Female Coupling of the same size.
• What it connects to:
• ● The adapter portion will connect to a Female Coupler.
• ● The threaded portion will connect to a Male NPT Thread.
• Installation:
• ● Thread the Female NPT portion of the pipe fitting onto a Male NPT Threaded end.
• ● Then insert the Stainless Type A Adapter into a Female Cam Coupler and close the two cam arms.
• ● For a quick disconnect, open the cam lever handles and remove the adapter.
