Type C couplers are normally used with Type E adapters but can also be used with Type A and Type F adapters and Type DP (Dust Plug) of identical size.

  • ● The Type C Female Coupler is a Female Cam and Groove x Hose Shank.
  • Uses:
  • ● Used to install a Female Cam Lock Quick Connect into a Hose End. 
  • ● Used to connect with a Male Adapter of the same size.
  • What it connects to:
  • ● The coupler portion will connect to a Male Adapter.
  • ● The Hose Shank portion will connect to a Hose End.
  • Installation
  • ● Insert the Hose Shank portion of the fitting into a Hose End and fasten with a hose clamp or crimp collar.
  • ● Then slide the Type C Coupler over a Male Cam Fitting and close the two cam handles.
  • ● Open the cam arm levers and remove the adapter for a quick disconnect.
