- Description: Male QD x Hose Barb Homebrew Camlock
- Advantages: These Cam and Groove QD's are well-suited for Brewing beacuse they are so easy to install and use and they are the lowest cost hose-end homebrew fitting.
- Installation: The Type E Male Cam Lock Quick Connects have a hose shank and are installed into Hose Ends.
- Common uses: Although this 1/2" stainless steel Camlock comes with a 1/2" Hose Barb, the ID (Internal Diameter) is reduced to about 3/8" beacuse of the wall thickness of the barb. This makes it better for low flow applications as well as for installing into 3/8" Silicone Hose. Yes you can stetch 3/8" silicone hose over the Type E Barb. For high flow applications we recommend the Big E.
