• What it connects to:

• ● The Male Camlock portion of this adapter will connect to a 8" Female Cam & Groove.
• ● The Hose Barb portion will install into a 8" Hose End.

• How the Adapter Works:

• ● For a quick connect, slide the 8" Male Adapter into a 8" Female Coupler and then close the Cam arms.
• ● For a quick disconnect, open the Cam Handles and remove the Adapter.

• Description:
• ● 8" Aluminum Cam and Groove Type E Adapter x 8" Hose Shank.
• Uses:
• ● The 8" Type E Male Adapter has an 8" Hose Barb and enables you to install a 8" Male Camlock Hose Coupling into a 8" Diameter Hose.
• Compatibility:
• ● 8" Hose Shank can slide into any 8" diameter hose.
• ● 8 inch Type E Male Camlock portion can connect to a 8 inch Female Camlock of the PTK Style.
• Installation:
• ● Slide the Hose Shank Portion into a 8" Hose and fasten with band clamps or a crimp collar.
• ● Then connect the Type E Adapter to a 8" Female Camlock Hose Fitting and close all 4 of the cam handles.
• ● Open all 4 of the cam levers and remove the adapter for a quick disconnect.

• Compatibility for 8" Camlocks

• Since the Mil-Spec standard only applies to sizes from 3/4" up to 4" as well as the 6", there is no standard for the 8" Cam & Groove. As a result there are two styles that are not interchangeable with each other:
• ● PTK Style - Compatible with Kuriyama and PT Coupling
• ● Neco Style - Compatible with Dixon (Andrews), Ever-Tite and NECO.

• The difference between the PTK and NECO versions:

• The PTK version has a smaller OD.
• - If the OD of the Male Adapter Portion is less than 9" OD, then it is the PTK Style.
• - If the OD of the Male Adapter is just over 9" OD, then you have the NECO Style.
