The Type E adapter is ordinarily used with a Type C coupler. However, this Type E adapter can be used with a Type B or Type D coupler as well as a DC (Dust Cap) of matching size.

• Description:
• ● The Brass Type E Male Adapter is a Male Cam and Groove x Hose Shank.
• Uses:
• ● Used to install a Male Adapter into a Hose.
• ● Used to connect with a Female Coupler of the same size.
• What it connects to:
• ● The adapter portion will couple with a Female Coupler.
• ● The hose barb portion will connect to a Hose.
• Compatability:
• ● Recommended to be used with other Polypropylene, Plastic, PVC and Banjo Camlocks.
• ● Generaly not used with other metal fittings, although they will couple.
• Installation:
• ● Insert the Hose Barb portion of the plastic pipe fitting into a hose and fasten with a crimp collar or hose clamps.
• ● Then insert the Type E Adapter into a Female Coupler and close the two lever arms.
• ● For a quick disconnect, open the cam handles and remove the adapter.
